Not bad if you have the right video card 3 out of 5
I got this game for my 6 year old boys. I read the reviews about needing a graphics card in order to play but I figured that my 2005 Gateway w/Vista should be enough to play this. I was wrong! I trying installing this game but was unable to due to the fact that this game requires a graphics card with a minimum of Pixel Shader 1.1.
I needed to get a graphics card for $50 & have it installed on the motherboard. Now the game plays & the boys enjoy it but buyer beware.
Best version 5 out of 5
I have had the older versions of this game but the complete saga is the best. superb game play and lots of fun with real lego humor.
the kids love it 4 out of 5
I have a 9 yr old and a 7 yr old. They can both play at the same time, and really like the game a lot.
Deceptive description of game. 1 out of 5
The game does not work on PC's without purchase of a separate video card. At no point does the description say you need the card in order to play the game. The system requirements do not list it. You only find out after the game has been installed, and hit play. We play other Star Wars games on the PC with the same exact jacket listed requirements with no problem at all. My grandson was extremely disappointed...to tears. I actually purchased a second game, thinking that one might have been defective or improperly installed. However, both games would not work. I am very, very disappointed with the marketing of this game.
Definitely worth it! 4 out of 5
As an adult who grew up with Star Wars, I really enjoyed (and continue to enjoy) this game! The difficulty level could be a bit higher - as a result the game can be played through pretty quickly - but it's much much harder to find all of the bonus levels, bricks, minikits, etc.
Also the free play mode, which allows you to replay a level with any character you want, is really fantastic fun: not only does it allow you to access much more of the levels to find the bonus points, you can also create situations like a showdown between Anakin and Darth Vader!
Anybody who likes puzzle solving, great graphics with a wink and a nod, plus a healthy amount of SW-style lightsaber and blaster action, will be very well served with this great game!!
