I would highly recommend this game to anybody. I received the game on time and absolutley love it!

This game seemed like it was going to be fantastic. However, I put it in my X-Box and once I started a game, the game would freeze after the first shot. I tried copying the game to the hard drive and every tweak I could find on the Internet, but the disk was faulty. Yes, I know, i could have returned it or whatever, but it just wasn't worth the hassle. This came from a video store (allegedly) in New York so I was confident that the game would be of good quality even though it was used. Now I realize that if I really want a game, it's best just to either buy it locally used, or buy a new version for myself. I was very disappointed.

This gmae is so fun and so cool you all should get it. I love this game I play it alot its super fun. The graphics are so good and the gameplay is awesome. I do not have any bad reviews on this game.

This game is a great game for offline play. However, the online play is full of bugs, exploits, and not being able to easily play with your friends. 20% of the online games timeout even before they start, no way to report exploits directly to 2K Sports, there's freezing bugs, double team and various defensive measures simply don't work like they do in real life, and hardly anyone has a mic (any you can't filter by that either). 2K Sports resolved some of the connectivity issues for the Xbox 360, but not until several months after release. This simply doesn't send a good message to its followers.

Never before have I seen a sport pushed to such limits....as far DOWN as possible. The only good thing I can say is that I didn't pay full price for this, instead, choosing to wait to get it for a sawbuck. Even paying such a low price I find it a ripoff. Gameplay is horrible, and I think that is an understatement! Every time you want to move a player they have to slowly gather energy to move or change directions, as if they just woke up and were tossed a basketball. Layups are almost impossible to do, but 3 pointers are pretty much guaranteed, which is an absolute joke. 2k sports and Take Two Entertainment (the real failures behind this travesty) also saw fit to make players shooting release so terrible that it allows defenders the time to get from under the rim out to the 3 point line to make a block. Never, in all my years playing basketball, have I ever seen a player able to pull off that feat during a shooters stroke! 2k Sports has progressively made this franchise worse every year since 2k6. With each new installment being harder to control, worse player control, and absolutely rediculous 3 point accuracy than the last. Don't get me wrong, EA sports has an even WORSE franchise (if that's possible??!!), but at least EA Sports has an excuse. They decided to make madden a top priority and tell basketball lovers to take a rushed peice of garbage, take it or leave it. 2K Sport and Take Two entertainment, though, don't have such an excuse. They should take time to learn how basketball is really played, in terms of player control and movement, and then make a game, and not just focus on how clearly you can see them sweat or if they look like Carmelo in the face. I wonder if you can give a game a negative 2 stars on Amazon....hmmmmm.....
