Minette is rocketing to the top of the haute couture world as her fashion designs are being heralded as awe inspiring. She is trying to finish her Spring Collection on time, yet her investors are noticing something is amiss. Minette has ambitious deadlines but has fired most of her staff. She recently started wearing a mask and drinking unusual teas. Fearing that her collection will not be completed and that something underhanded is at work, a nervous investor has asked Nancy Drew to fly to Paris, assist Minette and find out what’s fueling the designer’s erratic behavior. Strange threats and unwelcome guests arrive for Minette. Unsettling rumors connecting the Moulin to an unsolved historic mystery distract Nancy from the current task at hand. As Nancy, players will check into Minette’s web of contacts for clues on her actions. From Minette’s old flame Dieter von Schwesterkrank to gorgeous model Jing-Jing Ling, deceit is woven deep within the fashion industry. Can Nancy help Minette deliver her Spring Collection in time? Stitch together the clues and unravel the culprit’s design!
not the best 4 out of 5
I really like Nancy drew games and have played almost all of them. I agree with other people who say there isn't as much character interaction as the other games and some of the puzzles were boring or hard but the main problem I had with this game is the plot. to me it felt like her interactive came up with the world war II plot first and then put in the Minette plot just to get you to Paris. I still don't know where she got the letters from. The Minette plot didn't really have much to do with the historic plot. the things that did were really good the German lover being a characters uncle and Minette's studio being her house but they just needed to put a few connections I. to sum up all I'm trying to say I think the plot is rather choppy. The graphics were really good and I liked the way you get around and I liked buying things at the park. I didn't like the ending as some of the others (not as logical) but I can't complain too much, you gotta love Nancy drew!

Change is good 4 out of 5
This started a very big change in style with the games. A lot of things became better, and quite a few things changed. This isn't the best story of the games, but everything else was perfect that I had to give this 4 stars.
Story-A top level fashion designer (her name is Minette) has started wearing a mask for no reason. She won't let anyone see her face, and some of her financial backers are getting nervous. One of them hires you to go undercover for them, which means you have to fly to France to work with Minette. Your cover is her assistant. This would be a good story if the game was about it. Rather the game is about doing the chores she assigns you so that she won't fire you.
Graphics-They were FABULOUS! FINALLY! I loved the characters, the backgrounds, everything! The characters no longer freeze at all, so they will move pretty much constantly. It's great!
Music-French type music that you might hear in a French restaurant. It's really not that boring, and I rather liked it. The voice acting is really good, too.
Gameplay-Okay, here are the changes. You no longer have the intro letters and ending letters. Rather at the beginning you have a casefile that you read, and at the end you have, like, a little ending note thing. You get around using the metro as you have before in "Secret of the Scarlet Hand." Another thing is that the airport lost Nancy's cell phone, so you have to use a desk phone. That wouldn't be bad, but you have to type in your calling card number before you can call anyone on the phone which means you have to dial about 25 numbers to call someone EVERY TIME you call someone.
Fun-It is definitely fun, but some of the chores relate to fashion, so some guys may want to skip this one. It does have a lot of replay value because the puzzles are really fun, and there are 2 endings (although the villian is always the same).
Length-It took me about 13 hours to finish the first time, but I used a walkthrough every time I got stuck (which I usually don't do). Now it takes me about 10 hours to finish.
I really like this game, but there are just a couple of things that keep it from being perfect. I recommend it to everyone who doesn't want a scary mystery, but a mystery all the same.
disappointed, to many meaningless puzzles 2 out of 5
I have been playing these games for a few years now, but I play them out of order. This was the least enjoyable for me yet. It contained so many meaningless puzzles that I totally lost track of what the storyline was. I often use the UHS hints to help me when I get really stuck, but this time I used them just to get the answers to the puzzles just to get through this game! I enjoy being able to question people, and in this game I'm not sure Nancy has one conversation with another person in the entire second half of the game. And it seemed like there weren't a lot of places to explore; only the kitchen at JJ's house, one desk at the office......I guess I just like a little more space. I was disappointed.
One of my favorites 5 out of 5
This Nancy Drew game was really good!! I have always wanted to go to Paris, and here is a Nancy Drew game set in France!! There is so much to do in this one, from making parfaits to learning martial arts. Who knew? It's really interesting to me, too, beacuse it has fashion design as a main theme. I loved playing this one. :)
