I bought this book a while back during the Winter time (About when it first was available for purchase) and upon reading about it and looking at it, I knew I had to have it. My friend had gotten the 'regular' guide a while back (Not the GOTY edition or collector's edition) and it was paper back, flimsy, had non-glossy pages and was pretty ugly. But when I saw a very huge, nice, hardcover, limited print version that covered the game and all of its DLC, (Plus the glossy pages) I wanted it, despite the fact that I do not have the game (I plan to get it eventually). I knew that if I did not buy it, it would be hard to get later on (Amazon was selling it for about $25 when I bought it) and I was right about that. It's expensive now. Anyways, the guide is great and is very nice looking. It covers everything in pretty good detail and is over 750 pages long plus it includes a giant poster and an index (Which was really needed for a game like this!) The guide was also updated with a Capital Wasteland census for the game and all DLC, a bestiary, a list of all weapons, armor, stats, and effects of all of those things. This guide is easy to navigate, very attractive, sturdy, and very useful (No matter what you are buying it for). I highly recommend this product if you can still find it for a reasonable price!

More of an encyclopedia than a walkthrough, this book probably has just about everything you would want to know about Fallout 3 and all 5 add ons. Considering the amount of information in this book, it is presented in a pretty organized fashion. Overall, a great read and it will keep you busy for a long time.

Fallout 3 is a massive game; this guide encompasses most if not every minute detail and encounter in it. In addition to this tremendous dedication to detail, the writing is stylish and humorous, more like a tour guide than a bullet pointed list of commands telling you to do this and go there. Five Stars.

I do not play Fallout3 myself, but I purchased it for my boyfriend for Christmas! He LOVES it! When he is stuck on something he always turns to the guide or even looks through it just to find secret missions he didn't know about and hidden stuff.His dad even borrows it from him so he can play Fallout 3 on the computer! I recommend this guide for anyone who plays the game! You get your money's worth and then some!
